Obituary
Thelma Lee Cleveland, 83 of 1926 Wick St. S.E., Warren, departed this life Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 1:50 p.m. at her residence.
She was born January 21, 1927 in Plymouth, North Carolina, the daughter of Robert and Thelma Lee Coleman Brinkley
Mrs. Cleveland was a resident for 30 years coming to the area from New York, New York and was employed with The Bayer Company for 30 years before retiring in 1980. She was a 1944 graduate from Plymouth High School in Plymouth North Carolina and enjoyed crocheting, beading and spending time with her family.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Fred Cleveland Jr. whom she married in June of 1982 of Warren, 1 son, Carl Coney of New York, New York, 2 half brothers, Frank Coleman and Clifton Coleman both of New York, New York, 1 half sister Ms. Cheryl Coleman of New York, New York, 1 grandchild Ms. Laura Coney, step grandchildren, 6 and step great grandchildren, numerous, and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, 1 son, John Coney and 1 sister
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at New Vision Christian Center, where calling hours will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at 1926 Wick St. S.E., the home of her husband.
Local arrangements were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
