Obituary          

T’Lana Denise Smith-Bennett, 43 of 973 North Rd., S.E., Warren, departed this life Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2:07 a.m. at the Cleveland Clinic following complications from a short illness.

She was born March 5, 1967 in Warren, OH the daughter of Jerry F. and Betty Davis Brown.

Ms. Smith-Bennett was employed with ACE Cash Express as a Supervisor for 1 year and worked for Delphi Packard Electric in Quality Control from 2003-2009.

She was a member of Jehovah Witness North Assembly and enjoyed cooking, dancing and music. She was a 1985 graduate of Howland High School and attended Ashtabula Nursing Academy.

She leaves to mourn 2 sons, Kevin Michael Smith and Christopher Ryan Smith both of Howland; 1 stepson, Alexander Bennett of Warren; 1 stepdaughter, Miss. Mia Bennett of Warren; her mother, Betty M. Brown of Howland; 2 brothers, David Wayne (Pam) Brown and Jerry J. (Cheryl) Brown; 2 sisters, Mrs. Darlene (Robert) Clement of Beckley, WV and Ms. Selane Johnson of Warren; 1 grandson, Dante Michael Smith and 2 granddaughters, Miss. Keonna Marie Smith and Miss Myah Nicole Hartman all of Warren and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and 1 brother, Robert Davis.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel. Calling Hours: 12:00-1:00 p.m. (one hour prior to service).
