Steven Shawnleigh Faison, 24 of 2837 Duke Street, S.E., Warren, departed this life Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 12:25 a.m. from gunshot wounds.

He was born May 28, 1985 in Warren, OH, the son of Rickey Ellis Sr. and Avon Susan Faison.

He attended Warren G. Harding High School, was of the COGIC faith, and enjoyed playing football, music and watching television.

He leaves to mourn 1 son, Corday Diggs of Warren; 1 daughter, Sincere Hayes of Warren; his parents, Rickey Ellis Sr. and Avon Susan Faison both of Warren; 3 brothers, Rickey Ellis Jr., Ke’Shone Britt and Minister Greg Heflin all of Warren; 4 sisters, Naomi Faison, Atiya Faison, Chiarra Ellis and Miracle Ellis all of Warren; grandmother, Florence Faison and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Mattie Ellis and Robert Faison and 1 son, Steven Faison Jr.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 17, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel. Calling Hours: 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (one hour prior to service). Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at 2837 and 2839 Duke Street, S.E., Warren.
