Obituary          

Roma Marie Workman, 65 of 1320 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren departed this life Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 10:10 p.m. at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born February 14, 1945 in Zanesville, Oh., the daughter of William T. and Margaret Louise Carmichael Workman, residing in the Warren area for 56 years.

Ms. Workman was employed as a construction worker with Local 935 for 25 years before retiring in 2000, and previously was employed with the Ravenna Arsenal.

She attended York Ave. Church of God and was a member of Local 935. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, bingo and going to the dog races.

She leaves to mourn 2 brothers, Andre’ Workman of Warren and Thomas Cambridge of Youngstown; 4 sisters, Ms. Nita Dennison, Mrs. Donna (Lee) Parrott, Ms. Kay Caldwell all of Warren, and Ms. Stephanie Johnson of Chicago, Ill. And a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, William Albert Workman, and 1 sister, Ms. Beverly Sue Workman..

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 18, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at York Ave. Church of God.

Family will receive friends at 1704 Oak St. S.W. Warren, Home of her sister Ms. Nita Dennison.

Arrangements were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
