Nicole Darlene Jones Allen, 40 of 221 Upper Riverdale Rd., Jonesboro, Georgia departed this life Monday, February 15, 2010 at 8:40 p.m. at her residence. Cause of death is pending.

She was born January 28, 1970 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Richard George Jones and Linda Darlene Rodgers.

Ms. Allen was employed with K.B.R. Inc. for 3 yrs as a logistic coordinator and for the U.S. Government GS 10 for 1 year. She was a 1989 Graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School and a 1994 Graduate with an Associates Degree in Computer Science and Accounting. She was a member of New Freedom Baptist Church where she formerly sang in the Choir, and was past member of the Girl Scouts.

She served from 1994-2001 in the U.S. Army Reserve E5..

She leaves to mourn 3 daughters, Ms. Shini Jones of Alexandria, Louisiana, Miss. Shauntel Allen and Miss Shaneice Allen both of Austin, Texas; her mother, Mrs. Linda (Renza) Hughley of Warren, OH; her father Richard George (Ellen) Jones of Columbus, OH; 2 brothers Richard Darnell Jones and Larry Dean Simpson Jr. both of Warren, Oh.; 1 sister Ms Sonja Caprice Jones of Owenboro, Kentucky; 2 step-brothers, Cecil Stevens and Renza (Dawn) Hughley both of Warren, Oh.; 5 Step-sisters, Mrs. Regina (Michael) Lee of Richmond, Virginia, Mrs. Veronica (Willie) Jackson, Mrs. Marilyn (Robert) Allen, Ms Shelby Jones all of Warren, OH., Ms. Sharon Hughley of Cleveland, OH, one grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. Calling Hours: Monday, February 22, 2010 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 p.m. at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home, Warren Chapel and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Funeral on Tuesday. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at 1844 Bellcrest S.W., the home of her mother, Linda Hughley and 845 Homewood Ave. S.E. Warren, home of her brother Larry Simpson Jr.

Local arrangements were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
