Obituary          

Mary Louise Estella Jarrette, 69, of 2821 Red Fox Run, N.W., Warren departed this life Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 4:52 p.m. at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born May 27, 1940 in Warren, OH, the daughter of George F. and Dessel Berry Sims.

Mrs. Jarrette was employed with Packard Electric for 30 years as a Laborer, before retiring in 2000. She was a member of Grace AME Church, Local 717, and enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking.
She was a 1958 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
She married John Jarrette Jr. who died Feb. 19, 2003.
She leaves to mourn 1 son, Andre D. Jarrette of Warren; 3 daughters, Rosalyn A. Davis of Warren, Terra J. Bingham of Killeen, TX and Andrea D. Walton of Dallas, TX; her mother, Dessel Sims of Warren; 6 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, 1 son, John Jarrette III and 1 sister, Rebecca Sims.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Grace AME Church. Calling Hours: one hour prior to service (11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.). Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at 820 Comstock St., N.W., the home of her daughter, Rosalyn Davis.
