Obituary          

Marvin James Turner, 77 of 2473 North Rd. N.E., Warren, departed this life Monday, June 21, 2010 at 1:20 pm at Renaissance North Health Care Center of Cardiac Arrest.

He was born March 30, 1933 in Niles, OH, the son of Gag Turner and Florence Dawson Turner and lived in Warren for eight years coming from Niles..

He was employed with Sheet and Tube Steel Co. and was also employed for the Ravanna Arsenal. He was a 1952 graduate from Warren G. Harding High School and a 1982 graduate from Youngstown State University with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology.  

Mr. Davis was a member of Valley Baptist Church. He enjoyed singing and amateur Boxing in the Flyweight Division.

He was in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1955..

He leaves to mourn 1 son, Mark Anthony Turner of Youngstown; and 1 daughter, Ms. Leslie Beth Turner of San Diego, CA.; 3 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Henry Turner.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel and calling hours will be one hour prior form 11:00am-12:00pm.
