Mary Emma Nance, 83 of 1844 Sweetbrier St. S.W., Warren, departed this life Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 12:05 p.m. at Washington Square Health Care Center, following an extended illness..
She was born February 26, 1927 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph Frazier Sr. and Elsie Trotter Lucas.
Ms. Nance was a lifetime resident and was employed with Delphi Packard Electric for 30 years as a laborer before retiring October 31, 1991. She was a member of Third Christian Church and a member of U.A.W. Local 717 and enjoyed cooking, was a Cleveland Indians and Cavalier fan, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her husband, Robert Nance whom she married in 1953 died in 1968.
She leaves to mourn 1 daughter, Mrs. Jeanie D. (Robert) Spires of Warren, Ohio, 3 grandsons, Delmar (Stephanie) Cox, Reginald McCain Jr., and Eric Daniels all of Warren, 1 Ms. Erika Daniels of Warren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 nieces Mrs. Jackie (Leslie Spence) Moore of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Faye (Robert) Williams of Warren, 2 cousins, Mrs. Mattie (James) Evers and Mrs. Juanita (Clifton) Sanders and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Timothy Mitchell, Lorenzo Mitchell, Joseph Frazier, and James Daniels, 1 sister, Mrs. Velma Allen.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Third Christian Church, where calling hours will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am one hour prior to the service. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
