Obituary          

Leola Morgan, 107 of 1320 Mahoning Ave., Warren, departed this life Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 9:50 p.m. at Community Skilled Nursing Center of infirmities.

She was born October 15, 1902 in Opelika, AL the daughter of Elijah and Rose Bryant Hughley, moving to the area 10 years ago.

Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed being a housewife, drawing, reading, watching television, sewing and coloring.

She leaves to mourn her guardian/grandson, Lawrence (Patricia) Jones of Warren, 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Whit Morgan; 2 brothers, Frank and Bob Hughley; 2 sisters, Addie Spencer and Mary Morgan and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel. Calling Hours: 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., one hour prior to services. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at 2465 Risher Rd., S.W., the home of her grandson, Lawrence and Patricia Jones.
