Obituary          

Joyce McDaniels Brundidge, 69, of 1821 Jackson St., SW, Warren departed this life Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 4:03 p.m. at St. Joseph Eastland Medical Center of congestive heart failure.
She was born July 14, 1940 in Niles, OH, the daughter of Allen G. and Verna Smith McDaniels.

Mrs. Brundidge was employed with Trumbull Memorial Medical Group for 10 years as a Medical Assistant, before retiring Nov. 1996. She also worked for Dr. Sharon George as a Medical Assistant for 2 years.

She was a 1986 graduate of ATES Technical Institute in Niles. She was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church, where she served as a Nurses Aide and taught Vacation Bible School and enjoyed traveling, cross stitching and Jig Saw puzzles.
She married Willie L. Brundidge August 8, 1959.

Besides her husband of Warren, she leaves to mourn 3 sons, Mark (Christine) Brundidge of Oxnard, CA, Shawn (Sheletta) Brundidge of St. Paul, Minn., and Matthew Tod (April) Brundidge of Waldorf, MD; 2 brothers, Tony McDaniels of Valley, AL and Larry (Irish) Taylor of Hayward, CA; 1 sister, Ms. Anita McNair of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son, Jeffrey L. Brundidge and 1 daughter, Mrs. Avis Marie Edmonson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church. Calling Hours: one hour prior to service (11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
Professional arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
