Frederick Arden “Artie” Lynch Jr., 52, of 439 Crandall Ave., Youngstown, departed this life Thursday, April 1st at 2:20 p.m. at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Lynch was born Jan. 3, 1958, in Youngstown, OH, the son of Frederick Arden and Dorothy Taylor Lynch Sr.
He was employed with Earl Scheib for 4 years as a Painter and was a certified mechanic for many years.

He was a member of Rising Star Baptist Church, community volunteer, and enjoyed fishing, car racing, animals and telling jokes. He graduated from The Rayen School in 1975 and later graduated from Choffin and New Castle School of Trades.

He leaves to mourn 1 Godson, Alfonso Lewis Jr. of Youngstown; 2 brothers, Charles (Salane) Lynch and David (Laticia) Lynch both of Youngstown; 5 sisters, Mrs. Pamla (James) Carter of North Ridge, CA, Mrs. Darlene (Roy) Donaldson, Ms. Francine Fields, Ms. Frederica Cross, and Ms. Tina Lynch all of Youngstown; a special cousin, Sylvester Burrell of Hartford, CT and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Harrison Taylor and Robert Lynch.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Rising Star Baptist Church. Calling Hours: one hr. prior to service (10:00-11:00 a.m.).

Family will receive friends at 439 Crandall Ave., the home of his sister, Francine Fields.
