Alice Vaughn Allen, 77 of 700 Buckeye, Warren, departed this life Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 147 Oak Knoll S. E. following an brief illness.

She was born March 26, 1932 in Susex, VA. the daughter of Sylvester Walter Vaughn and Mary Walker Vaughn moving to the area 56 years ago from Susex, VA.

Mrs. Allen was a house wife and was a member of St. James Church of God in Christ. She enjoyed Shopping and spending time with her family.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Samuel Allen Sr. of Cleveland, (5) Sons, Samuel (Marci) Allen Jr. Leslie (Terri) Parkey, Reginald (Rebecca) Allen, Rodney “Ricky” (Ayanna) Allen all of Warren, and Calvin (Tye) Allen of Columbus; (5) Daughters, Ms. Teresa Dorsey of Baltimore, MD., Ms. Earnestine Allen, Ms. Barbara Allen, Ms. Latricia Hughley, Ms. Tausha Allen all of Warren.; (3) Brothers, Leslie (Evelyn) Vaughn Sr., William Vaughn, Robert Lee Vaughn all of Waverly, VA.; (2) Sisters, Ms. Lucille Vaughn and Ms. Gladys Vaughn both of New York, and 25 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.                             She was preceded in death by her Parents, (1) son, Bobby L. Hughley.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Church of God in Christ. Calling Hours are from 10:00- 11:00 A.M. one hour prior to the Service at the church. Family will receive friends at 276 First St. S.W., Warren, Ohio the home of her Daughter, Barbara Allen.
